Welcome to Progressive Aviation Services, LLC

Your Source for Cirrus and High Performance Aircraft Training and Services

Looking for the highest quality in training and aviation services? Then you have come to the right place. We specialize in Cirrus Aircraft, a wide variety of other Technically Advanced Aircraft (such as the Piper PA-46 line, the Cessna Corvalis/400 line, and many others). We also have significant experience in a variety of antique taildraggers, such as the Globe/Temco Swift, Short Wing Piper series, and others. Whatever you fly, we provide the same services in dozens of other general aviation aircraft.

P.A.S. has a syllabus for most areas of training, from initial transition, advanced avionics, proficiency maneuvers, systems, instrument proficiency checks, flight reviews, mountain training courses, high-performance refreshers, and courses customized to fit your needs. Additionally, we offer a variety of aircraft services, including aircraft management, ferry flying, and much more.

P.A.S. is owned and operated by a highly experienced professional pilot. In addition to having worked directly for Cirrus as a delivery pilot and factory instructor, he’s also flown and provided instruction in over 140 types of general aviation aircraft and several transport-category aircraft, as well. We’ve had the pleasure of working with hundreds of Cirrus & other High-Performance aircraft owners over the past 25+ years, during the acceptance/delivery of their aircraft, throughout their transition and recurrent training events, during mountain training courses, and in a wide variety of consultation roles. Additionally, I have held the Cirrus Standardized Instructor Program (CSIP) credential continuously since the first day it was available in late-2003 and the Platinum CSIP status since its inception in 2010. I have been an active flight instructor for over 34 years and am currently a 11-time Master Instructor (one of less than 15 instructors in the world to have earned that credential for 11 consecutive 2-year terms [22 years and counting]). Unlike most Master Instructor’s, I earned that title through both governing bodies who administer separate FAA-recognized programs (the National Assoc. of Flight Instructors and The Society of Aviation & Flight Educators).

To see what my customers (both Cirrus and otherwise) have to say about their experiences working with me, please visit the Customer Testimonials section.

As an aviation author, I’ve published hundreds of articles in various aviation periodicals, newsletters, and online, as well. To see just a small sample of those articles I’ve penned, visit the Published Works page.

Cirrus Aircraft, Piper, Cessna, and other Technically Advanced Aircraft makers, and even homebuilders are building some terrific products that P.A.S. is excited to support. We are equally excited to help preserve and promote antique aircraft of all types. It is the goal of P.A.S. to provide you with the services you desire and to make you the safest and most proficient pilot you are capable of being. I know that we will be able to provide you with quality instruction in your specific area of need. I look forward to working with you soon.

Mission Statement: To produce the safest and most proficient pilots through the highest quality instruction we can provide. All the while, reminding those pilots why they started flying in the first place…because it’s FUN!
