Dear Lions,
As we head into the holiday season, it is a good time to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives and the many accomplishments we have achieved together as Lions.
I hope everyone has enjoyed a successful first quarter of the Lions year and is actively reporting service and donations through the portal. One of our District’s goals is to have 100% of clubs report their activities. This can only happen with the support of every Lion recording their service hours, and with club secretaries, service chairs, or administrators ensuring that those hours are submitted and approved. Accurate reporting not only highlights the impact of our work, but it also demonstrates to outside foundations the tremendous good Lions accomplish-helping us secure additional support for LCIF and other initiatives.
As we close out the calendar year and prepare for tax season, I encourage you to consider making donations to our outstanding foundations: LCIF, the Wisconsin Lions Foundation, the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin, Restoring Hope Transplant House, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and the many other organizations that depend on Lions support.
Wishing you and your families a joyous holiday season. I look forward to a strong and successful second half of our Lions year together.
