District Wide Day of Service

Starting in 2025, then District Governor Ron Wright challenged the district to participate in a District-Wide Day of Service on the last Saturday in April to coincide with Earth Day/Earth Week. Clubs throughout the district have accepted the challenge and created environmental community service events throughout their communities to participate in this Day of Service. Some examples of projects have included highway cleanup, spring cleanup at parks and nature trails and even a spring cleanup/work day at the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin, where many clubs participate.
